They could be ANYWHERE. I would probably put in at Pearl Mill and fish down towards the mouth of Beaverdam. There's always Felkel's landing, fishing both north and south of the ramp. That's way up Rocky River. McCalla's Bottoms and English Creek can produce (on Savannah). Mouth of Coldwater is a spot to try. The main river channel in front of Pickens and Bond Creek (Greg Shoals) is some deep waters (heck, all of Savannah is deep). Above Sanders Ferry bridge all the way up to Smith McGee bridge as far up as you can go produces fish. And not to forget, there's alot of fishing down towards the dam. Should be plenty of striper since this is a trophy lake....only two fish per person per day. And most people are only interested in the bigger fish releasing the small ones to grow. If eaters are what you want go below the Russell Dam on Clark Hill and fish the Savannah from the mouth of Broad and Savannah all the way up to the rope at the dam. I believe the limit there is 10 per person per day. (Check game book though as I dont striper fish anymore.)
