    Default Wateree 12-9-2020

    Good trip today.

Put in at Colonels creek about 7 & headed out to main channel. Started marking & catching stripers right off the bat. Down rods at 12 to 16' baited with herring or shinners. Bite died after a while so we moved down stream about a mile where we caught fish last friday. Bite was hot for a while again.

Bite died so we moved downstream about 2 more miles & marked fish again. Bite was fast again This time down rods at 18 to 20'. Ran out of herring so we started using all shinners.

We caught more stripers on the herring than shinners. Probally had about 20 more on but came loose. Marked the most bait at the last stop. Depth finder screen was totally black out.

Loaded up at about 1:30 for the trip home.

Ended up keeping 20 stripers & throwing 3 back. Big fish was about 26".
