    Default Something different

I got an offer to join some friends for a morning deer hunt this morning and as I have not hunted in to long I took them up on it. I sat in a ground blind for about 3 hours and saw nothing. Out of 5 of us nobody saw anything so going to try it tomorrow afternoon. On the fishing side I saw the gulls working out in my cove this afternoon. I am ready to chase some stripers.

Good luck with your hunting AND the fishing Don.

We used to chase stripers all winter on Murray and it's awesome! I wish I had Clarks Hill figured out like that but hey someday i'll put it all together.....I hope!

Good luck on both Don. You know how deer hunting goes, it's like watching a baseball game when both teams are in the slumps. Fishing you can most likely make something happen.

I am not going with any high expectations on the hunting side. If a young one walks out I will try to put in the freezer if not oh well. Now that I got the pontoon back with a new motor the stripers better be aware. Thanks

Go get 'em! I have a feeling the much cooler weather forecast for next week will be just the ticket to get the gulls flying and the stripers feeding!
