another great day of fishing from the charter boat the SS Remus II. Craig who got the first fish? Glad you both made the trip and found some fish. I know Uncle Remus said he was tired of no fishing and was ready to go. Thanks for the report.
I met up with Uncle Remus this morning at Ebinezier landing. We hit the water around 7 and fished till 1:00. It was pretty muddy this morning. You could only see the minnows 2 to 3 inches from the surface before they disappeared.
The water temperature was 62, winds out of the north 12 to 15 mph. We hit a few places and marked fish but they would not bite. Finally found some hungry ones. We ended up with 1 bass, 1 catfish, and 33 white perch. It was great to be back out on the water with my great friend! Thank you for another great day on the water!

So that's why Uncle Remus looks so depressed looking at his little perch. You know he always catches the first fish. He usually has me five to one at the first stop and then it's on from there on! LOL Oh! He like to catch the last one too!
I guess he was just out of practice
