    Default Wateree Water Color

Stained. Not muddy but well stained. Water level extremely low.

Use the ramp farther from ranger office, it is better than other one. Colonels Creek is best but they don't have a pier anymore since business has locked gate.

Hoping things work out next weekend that I can make a trip down there. Been a few years since I've been to Wateree.
If not then hopefully I can get to Fishing Creek or Stumpy Pond.
Never fished either one of them, but want to try them out.
Water temps should be right for the crappie on all 3 lakes so I want to try one of them...lol

Great day Pchop. Anybody pulling jigs? I have to be moving. lol. I know you catch a lot on brush, but I have trouble sitting on it. I love to troll. Makes it tough in the winter sometimes when they are real deep.

Last time I was there a few weeks ago, they were a few with minnows that couldn't keep the stripers off to get to the crappie. lol.
