    Default 2020 Clash

Well its in the book for another year. A smaller than normal turnout. But due to weather conditions and everything else going on it was not bad. Had 14 crews come out to brave the weather. 9 from N.C. and 5 from S.C. The fish did cooperate for most folks. Dont know of any boat that was skunked. There were some pretty nice fish caught though. Wish I could have caught some of em. We had a few small rain showers but nothing to get excited over. Rainsuit on then off bout 10 minutes later. Thank You all that came out. You are the folks that make these events fun. We had what I want to call three stages of fisher people out there. The old antiques like Dawgg and maccrappie type. Then several teen age kids. They are the future of this sport. And then had three under 12 kids out. From what I understand these young folks showed out. Big fish of the day was caught by one of the teens. The under 12 gang had to carry the load on their crew to get fish in the boat. Congratulations to you young folks. Now Thank You to the guys that got this rolling. MT Hook, turkeyfoot, maccrappie, BiggDawgg and others. Those that donated food for the meal. Those that donated to help pay for this. Thanks all. I will try to get the numbers correct . No promise.

First place for heavy 5 fish went to : Team Pete. 6.5 lb.

First Place for Heavy Individual fish went to Team Remus : 1lb.10 0z.

If anyone wants to know where they placed just p.m. me and I will send it to you. If I try to get it all on here it will be all screwed up.

Again THANK YOU ALL for being part of the best fishing forum on the net. If you ever want to see what these folks are about just come to one of the events. Never know you may get hooked on fishing .

And by the way this years Clash winner went to ....

.SOUTH CAROLINA squeeked it out by only 2 oz.

I think this is the closest Clash ever.

    Final score was :::: S.C. 24.8 LB
N.C. was there with 24.6 lb.

That is getting down to right there.

Congratulations to S.C. and to all the other winners.
There were no losers out there. All you folks are winners . Thanks again ! Till next time.Name: IMG_0841.jpg

Great pictures! Thanks for the gifts and trophy you had for the winners and the young folks. Glad to be part of this great group of folks. My crew had fun and are ready to do it again. Big thanks to the NC guys also! Always a pleasure to be around them and enjoying their company. Food was great and thanks for preparing it for us. It surely hit the spot after a day of fishing. Hopefully Ebenezer park will be ready so we can host the next clash and have a shelter area to sit down and relax after a day on the water. Thanks to everyone for making this happen.

Thank you to everyone that made everyone else feel welcome.
    This community is the best.
Thank you to the ones that pit their time, money and efforts in this for it to happen.
Thank you to the young men and ladies for coming out with us and having a great time even if some didn't catch a bunch, all caught some.
My 2 are already asking when is the next clash...lol
But I will have them on the water again sooner than the clash.
Thanks for the fellowship, nice prizes and the great eats.
Hope everyone made it back home safely.
My gang wanted fish for lunch today so I fried some up and grilled 2 big ones for the dieting in-laws.
Hope to see everyone again soon.
