Keep us posted on water conditions. I'd really like to go to Wateree or Monticello Saturday.

Got down early yesterday, set up camp at State Park, put in at June Creek, dock was torn up and could not use. Water was high and it wasn't as muddy as up river had been. We took it slow going out but hit something under water before we got out to main channel. It locked up lower unit and prop would not turn. We cracked kicker motor up and went back to dock. Something had gashed side of lower unit and guess had locked it up, Got it loaded back up, went and broke down camp and came back home. Water and dingy but not bad in June Creek. Be careful if planning to go down, did not see a lot of logs or other stuff floating but there was a Carolina Skiff floating on its side in June Creek with motor under water right across from ramp.

    Dang! Hate to hear that.
In case you may or may not know, most boat insurances will cover "prop strikes". Dont stress over it. May take a month or so.
Full day 1/2 day or evening Striper/Crappie fishing trips available at a very affordable price for
Lake Norman, Badin, Wateree, High Rock.

No it locked up prop, will not turn now. Yeah have filed it with insurance but guess ruined our 4 days of fishing this week and 4 next week. Hope to get it fixed before off for Christmas because we usually fish 4 or 5 days then.

Only live a few miles from Gastonia, worked for them for 25 years. You fish Norman often?
