If you are going this weekend, south may be the better option. Looks like most of the models have the hurricane going north of Charlotte so probably not as wet at Santee.
Living just about smack dab in the middle of both was looking at runnng north or south. Was going to long line or tight line Santee probably on Moultrie. Any good word coming out of there since the bit of cool down?? Normally start around Dec. but am in need of some water time!! They normally tight in the brush but was hoping they have started to move some. Thanx for any help.

I got the boat ready to go pull cranks this coming weekend, but looks like rain both days on the rock.
Thanx for the reply Cwright. Is High rock good for pulling jigs?? Always wanted to hit that lake.
Just got back from Santee. Talked to one guy who said they did pretty good just inside the woods of Stumphole across from Stumphole landing. Said they were in about 6' of water. Some on minnows, some on a yellow and white jig. Talked to one other local back in there who was having no luck but he was mostly targeting Shellcrackers. Didn't personally target crappie so that's all I know.
There is a big B.A.S.S. tournament down there this weekend. Some guys were back in Stumphole on Monday midday pre-fishing.
I suppose all that is mostly irrelevant if you're going to Moultrie though.
