    Default Beware of your surroundings

This is my second run-in with a snake in one week. This copperhead was underneath my JD mower. The scary part was I had two tires I had to apply air to. Then I cranked it and backed up after raising the deck.
This is what I saw (alive of course). It went straight under my building. Had to pour bleach around two sides of the building to flush him out. The thing that concerns me now is are there any eggs under the building.
It's a 12x16 and one end sits real low to the ground. Anyway just giving yall a heads up. The Lord looked after me on this one. Biggest live copperhead I ever seen. About 3 ft long and fat.

Copperheads do not lay eggs, born live and wiggling.

Ridge, I killed two of those in my front yard last year after I cleared about 6 acres of woods, I separated their heads from their bodies with a sharp spade.

I got them around my house along the old cattle pond. Not pets but they do the pest control along with the black snakes. Time of the year with the cool down they will get out of sight and soon find a place to spend the winter. You got a lot of toads around your house? If so you'll see another most likely. You need to worry about the one Redge posted. That's the one that will put a hurting on you. Be careful.

Are you positive that's a Copperhead? Color looks off to me.
