Thanks for the "Congrats" everyone. Its the nicest boat I have ever owned. I am retired now, so once the longline bite turns on, you will find me on Murray, Clark's Hill, or Greenwood. May even venture out and try to attend one of the gatherings this group puts on. Always good meeting new crappie fishermen and exploring new waters.

Any idea what I might can put in its place and still use the in hull transducer. Would like a small 5 inch sonar/gps unit in its place. I have a Simrad 7 I will also be adding to the boat.
Humminbird Helix 5 is good unit but not sure what you loose (if anything?)with the existing transducer.

Finished up my trolling rod holders today. 6 on the sides and 6 out the back. 12 is all I care to run. Plan to mount a transom saver block tomorrow. I am going to mount my Simrad Go 7 on the dash behind the wind shield. Just learned the Simrad unit has a wireless feature. You can turn that on and mirror the Simrad screen to any phone or tablet. You can also control the Simrad unit from the tablet. Think I will set up a 10 or 12 inch tablet in the back to use while trolling. Anyone else use the screen mirroring feature.
