    Default Boat Restoration

Finally getting around to posting the restoration pictures from our boating accident back in April. We've been able to take it out several times this summer and its as good as new. Huge thanks to Rory and Erin at Saltmarsh Skiffs for helping get us the materials that we needed to do the repair. It's really nice to be able to call the company and talk to the owners and the person who actually built the boat.

Forgive the order of the pictures. I had them arranged from start to finish, but they re sorted when I uploaded the post.

Nice work brother. I know you are happy that you can just about see the finish line from here.

It's AwlGrip Top Coat. Just took a 3" sponge roller and rolled it on smooth. On the second to last coat, sprinkle in "fine grit" non skid and let that set up. Then roll a thin coat over the top of that.
Also if anyone ever needs fiberglass materials Fiberglass Florida has everything you could ever need and in all different sizes. There were times I just needed a small amount of something and could find smaller portions there. WHereas West Marine and other places wanted to sell you large amounts.
