Operation North State
Hello my Crappie fishing Friends,We are going to be able to have only ONE fishing festival this year.We are going to fish Randallman Tuesday September 15th.We need host boaters to take some disabled Veterans fishing.Fish for what your favorite fishing is.Yes it's a Tuesday,,,We will be the ONLY fisherman's on the lake.The lake opens just so disabled veterans can fish with us.Please help with this if you can.We need several more host boaters,All gate fees are waved for this day ONLY YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.THANK YOU.
The last info I got says they have 50 Vets signed up and 7 on the waiting list but only have 36 boats.
They are shooting for 50 boats could use 60 so if you can get out there and help. You'll need to have liability insurance on your boat, supply rods/reels and tackle for what you want to fish for.
They are set up to launch as soon as you meet your Vet with staggered blast off times. Snacks will be provided and a box lunch for the ride home.
Come on out it's always fun meeting the Vets and sharing something we all love.

They say it’s a pretty good lake. Some monsters were taken out from it when it opened. Have to pay though.

Bummer!!! I would love to take my boat and take a veteran out for a day on the water and to meet some of the awesome people (CDC'rs) (and others) involved in this very important and meaningful project.
I'm totally bummed out that I am already committed to taking my wife to a doctor's appointment that (unfortunately) cannot be rescheduled without waiting a couple of months. (Not do-able).
I hope everyone has a great time and I will be looking very much forward to participating in future Operation North State Events.

Usually 8 trips some are in Eastern NC so I don't do those.
