Default New dog in the house

Some of you know I had to put my dog (Dixie) down in the last week of May. She developed oral cancer and was not able to beat the odds. Heart broken is not the word to describe the lost of a best friend who loves and forgives in the wag of a tail. I've never had a dog that actually thrived at being by my side. I could not move without her looking to see what I was doing. Keys jiggle, she would be at the door ready to ride. Bag crinkle she had her nose at the hand ready to munch. I know everyone has had one so I won't go on with my rambling.

    Her best place!

Now introducing Mocha who is two years old and was looking for a home from apartment living. Her parents travel to much to keep boarding her, which isn't fair to her.

Hopefully she will be happy with a large fenced
in back yard and country living. Already loves riding with me! I know the love will grow. She's not a replacement but an attachment!

A fine looking fur buddy Ron When they are gone a part of your soul goes with them. The love does grow for the new one as Roscoe is the new one for me but it's been many years now and we have many hours riding and fishing. The old boy is on my heels at every move. Thoughts are with you and look forward to seeing all the pics of your's and Mocha adventures.

Dang, I ain't got much soul left then. I have had a lot of them in my 69 years. Some lived long lives and others only a short span. But I'm glad I had them. I've had a lot of guys I worked with over the years said they wanted to come back as a dog and be mine. I feed them good and all are vet kept, so when I gave them steak is when my friends said they wish they were my dogs. LOL Thank you for the kind words Stump Hunter. They are put here for the purpose of being our best friend if treated right. They take a lot of stress for us and can sense our feelings in good or bad times. I have never been without one or up to three dogs at times. Certainly one of Gods other best gifts to us.

Roscoe, is there for a reason, wait until he inspects and smells the money from the ATM machine and counts it for you. When he keeps a twenty don't fuss at him, he's only saving it for a frosty on the next fishing trip! I guess it goes good with fish! We need to see a picture of Roscoe. Haven't seen one in a while of him.

I think Doodle's will have to run fast to get away from Mocha. Mocha has to learn to drop the ball so you can throw it again. Close to what Doodle's does. Mocha likes to wrestle around. We'll see though. I do need to see you soon on a couple of things we need to do.
