Today started out at 76* and balmy. Wasn't a breeze stirring anywhere.
The graph constantly showed bait and fish...
Lines were in the water pulling double 1/16's about 12' deep...
But if you'll go back to the picture of the graph and check out the surface temp before sunup you will see why the bite was few and far in-between. They wee there like last weekend. I shoulda fished for 'em then because last weekend the water was only 85*.
Anyhow, I did manage catching 6 in an hour...
Put up the rods and started exploring with the graph instead. As the sun got up it got warmer. I didn't want to be sweating bullets so I didn't stay but a couple hours and headed home. I think this trip will convince me to officially make this my last trip until the fall feed starts.

Yea, Ive had enough of trying to fish in the heat AND in the hot water. Old age is catching up with me I guess. That just aint fun anymore. I'll just wait until cooler temps (and cooler water temps too).
