    Default Electric Fillet Knives

Does anyone have any input about the Mr Twister Saltwater Piranha knife for $33 vrs the standard yellow/green electric knife for $20? Is it worth the difference? Does the blades for one fit the other?

I've had both and the Piranha is stronger and more powerful. I don't believe the blades are interchangeable. I've used the Piranha to fillet sheepshead which have ribs like a beef cow and it handles the job just fine.

I might give the Piranha a try next time I'm in Academy. Nothing against the standard knife as I have been using them for years but when trying to cut thru larger rib bones the Piranha might do a better job. Gotta see...………..

I've had both, but swapped to an American Angler Professional. Paid about $75. online. In the past i would burn up a mr. twister every year. Had my new one for 3 years with no problems. I don't remember the piranha being any better, but it has been a few years.

I also have both and would spend the extra for the saltwater. Blades work on both. I have three total with one probably 5 years old. Still going strong. Bought two for almost nothing when g. Mountain sold out in Monroe.

Try the Bubba electric!! Red case with two blades and a long cord! I have been cleaning fish with an electric since '85 and IS the best I have ever used!! Had used the Mister Twister Green and yellow for all the other years. Good inexpensive knife but not to the level of the Bubba. Just my two cents.
