Put in at the Nuclear Station & ran to the back end of crowders. Expected to see a lot of muddy water coming in. Only saw a little muddy water just below the bridge over crowders. Looked like the water water was pushing back up into crowders.

Anyway, we caught 1 blue & 1 flathead just below the bridge. Tried several places for cats but not much action in crowders.

Ran back to main channel on the North Carolina side across from the nuclear station. We should have been here all morning. Current was running strong here & we marked a lot of perch. Caught several perch & 2 more flatheads. Big fish was around 20 lbs. Also, I had a large cat on a spoon that would not come up. Too much for 10 Lb line. Hook finally came out.

Water was not muddy at all & did not see a lot of junk floating.
