    Lake Wylie
Glad i got out yesterday. Crappie only . Current was strong with Duke lowering the lake fast.
    Enjoyed the day .
Put in at Allison 730am. Tried old and new spots with little success.
See pic 1, Charles's tree, loaded with non biting fish.
Went to Torrence, tried usual areas, not much happened. Tried scanning a few docks. (need a CK scanning lesson which is part of my 24/7 Cks Humminbird Newbie Help membership, only 29.
    99 monthly)
Went to Beaver Dam, did well there. Basically saved the trip. BINGO, got maybe 20 there, kept some
Went to CKs Crowders spot. Got 1 but it was a good 1
Went to fishing bouy across the lake. ZERO
Went to my new honey hole! BINGO AGAIN , got another 20?, kept a few more.
Ended keeping 12 total , caught 40? (don't usually count the caught total)
    Went home.
Best colors were black, chartreuse and a little green , silver thing i got recently
    1/24 th oz jigs

Brett, Glad you had fun fishing. May get out there next week if it don't flood to bad. It always happens to me when I have a day off, it's either raining or the wind is blowing beyond bearable conditions. That jig you advertise is a good one. For years my brother in law made curly tail jigs and that dark green and a slightly lighter color were our favorites. What is the length of those?

I have been looking at my DO It catalog and it has them in there. I'm not ready to put out any more money right now on something I'll not use that much. Just put $600 into my truck to keep me riding instead of walking. I have the material but not the mold to make them. Maybe later I will. Your 1/24 jig, what size is the hook?

Sounds like you found them biting in a few places. Sometimes by keep moving from place to place turns a bad or average day into a great day. Congrats on the catch.
