Wateree 4-21-20
Saw a lot of boats up in the river today.
We did ok with the cats but only caught 1 striper up at cedar creek. Using herring & cut perch, we mainly fished for cats at several spots from wateree creek up to cedar creek. Lost a lot of fish after we had them hooked. I started doing better by letting them run for a short ways before I engaged the reel.
Ended up with 26 blues & the 1 striper about 20". Nothing over about 15 lbs.
The wind was pretty bad after about 10. Loaded up & headed home about 1:30.

We have been using the public landing at wateree creek. Water was not low when we were there 4-21-20. We have put in there back when the water was low but we have never had any problems.
