Great catch and some good pictures. Congrats on a fish that should (might) win the month!

Nice pulling. All that fun and all that good eating. "Smiles don't leave a lake without one."

Congrats on the nice 2+ lb crappie, those make you know you are alive when you see them on the end of your line.

Congrats on a nice catch and a big ole crappie! However, it just points out to me how bad I have been this year. I fish Clarks Hill and do pretty decent most years, but not this one. I have caught some nice sized ones, but just not the numbers. I have not reached a limit yet this year. Shallow, deep, different colors, different weight jigs, different speeds, no luck. Just lots of annoying little hybrids. Usually there are some nice sized crappie mixed in with them but not this year. Any ideas from anyone what I might try next time? I usually pull 8 rods. I found them shallow one day a few days before the full moon and thought they would be there in more numbers the next day and then nothing.
