I think you said one time go with what you thinks best for you. But if you want 2 cents worth from everyone then mine is go for the Helix 9 mega Si G3n+ or a 10 mega Si G3n+ @ $2000 but a 10 inch screen will hold a lot of crappie in sight. You'll see it a whole lot better from any place on your boat! Lot of screen selections for any type of fishing. Good luck choosing!

Butch, I’m installing a helix 12 G2N Mega tomorrow. If you’ve got time in the afternoon for a boat ride let me know and we’ll learn how it works and you can see if you like them. Yours will be just a little smaller. My house is on the broad river south of Elberton.

I think the menu’s are similar to the 998 hd I have on another boat. If so we should be able to dial em in pretty quickly.
