    Cool Boats

If you were going to buy a new aluminum john 18' to 20' use for striper, catfish, crappie, perch, trips to coast now and again, what would you choose? Thinking of selling my 20' Grady White and 17' Wahoo and fishing just one rig. Your opinion please probably be my last rig, that would make the wife happy for sure LOL
    thanks

Probably War Eagle Blackhawk for me. Would also have to check Sea Ark.

What Brett said, order the catalog and see what models they got in 18 - 20 foot. Or a G3 1860 !

Seark for that combination. Might be a little more expensive but it will be there until you can’t fish anymore.

    I'd definitely be looking at a V-hull 20'er....or bigger.

The G3 bay series is a good all around platform. Sea Ark is well built but tends to be a little heavier. Xpress bay series are well built, and tend to be lighter and draft less water. However, the bay series Xpresses don't corner well and tend to have a lot of slip in their turning ability.
Florida Sportsman did a "best boat" show on 18-20 aluminum bay boats a couple years ago. Really informative show.

Sea Ark River at 180 or 200 with side console. Those are some big boats and can handle some mean water and get very skinny.
