Yes, you should still pm your numbers to each other for later trips. I had a list of numbers at one time with most local guys that fished where ever we had gatherings. It was with a promise of no BS calling. It worked great. Now, that most know each other they pass numbers easily between themselves. It is always good to have the numbers due to emergencies or checking in when you find fish. I'd hate to be broke down and stranded at Monticello knowing that help was there but couldn't talk to them.

Comalander was there fishing the day before and was doing pretty good on them in 35 foot of water. Perch move constantly and if you see the loons and commerants diving you'll catch perch near them. Did you'll see any seagulls diving? Another good sign to look for.
I don't know what it is that you were seeing and not getting a bite. I've seen it too! It surely is strange seeing on the depth finder.
Glad you'll made and hope there will be another chance to meet and fishing will be better! Thanks for the reports. 91tiger hope you can make it to Wylie sometime in the future for a get together with us.

Dawgg where is your report? Or did you stay on the porch napping again?

The Loons were definitely a pattern for me yesterday. Forgot to mention that. If you saw them diving in the same spot at all it was worth jigging the area for a few minutes. Usually it would only be a fish or two. Just never could get the big school fired up. Only saw a couple of gulls all day and they were just sitting on the water till a boat would run by.

Steve certainly has those loons trained to follow boats over there. Every single time I would hook a fish one would show up instantly, looking for a handout. I have no idea where they came from most of the time.

No report from me. Yes, I stayed home on the porch some what warm. Greg, had to work Saturday. He is the only mechanic at his job site. So you get called in at anytime. Remus had other things to do and by the time Greg told me he was working it was to late to round up someone. Valentines day would you be looking for a call to go fishing at 9 pm? LOL Maybe ofishlbizzness but Granny has him on lock down on sweetie day I'm sure!
