    Default 1-8-2020 lake Wylie

I met up with Uncle Remus at Buster Boyd landing at 9:00. Water temperature was 50 degrees.
We headed up the lake searching for some Mark's.
We found some by Mills creek. ( water was heavily stained) But the wind was blowing hard and we couldn't stay on them. We headed down to Crowders creek (water was stained) picked up one crappie. We headed down to Big Allison and picked up a perch and a crappie. All of the fish we marked today was where the wind was howling! We packed it up around 2 and headed back to the ramp.Name: 20200108_135800.jpg

It was howling. I’m building a house right across from crowders in one of the cuts. I watched a fella in a bass boat crappie fishing the mouth. He must have been doing good he was there about a hour and a half. Had me tore up wanting to go fishing.

Fishing in January this year has been a test of wills! It's either raining or blowing a small hurricane every time I think about going.

I fished from B. Allison all the way to Mills Ck. Caught 33 and kept 10 over 10 inches. Water is pretty dirt from Beaverdam north. All caught vertical over brush.
