Has it began to clear up any? Why are they keeping the water so low now? Have never seen it this low unless it was a drought.

They've wanted it this low in the past but the weather hasn't cooperated. They bring it down for repairs and installations. 94.5 is the target for January, 95 for February, 97 in March - December. You can thank the HOA. A deal was signed in '06.

There is a bladder dam to help with flooding to be installed early 2023 and the lake will be kept at 94.0 until it's completed. It'll be 94.0 for 11-16 months is what I've heard.

Are there any accessible boat ramps open and safe?

I'm not sure honestly...I know Clearwater is unusable. Try Colonel Creek, June Creek, or Dutchman's. Not sure about Wateree Creek but maybe.

We use Colonel Creek the last few times but make sure you do not back in too far or you will go off ramp. If it gets down any lower you will not be able to use lake at all unless you have a boat in water.

I see water level is above 97 feet, they will be running water getting back down before the weekend.

Yep, 98.2 feet at the moment and they're running it wide open. Should make for some good catfishing once the debris clears out a bit. Forecast says back to winter temps starting Friday. I have plans Saturday or I would go.
