    Yeah I've been doing some research but have yet to find anything. Unique little gem you might have.

    I have yet to see anything with that double reel foot for lack of words.

    Found a reel that looks like this one. It is a Martin Precision Reel. 27A, Mohawk NY, year unknow manufacturer unknow. It is listed on in Thea and for sale on E bay for $92 bucks free shipping. This has to be the same thing!

    Yes it may have been repainted and covering up the name. Just glad I could help John find some info.

    Well it seams it may not be repainted after all. I zoomed the picture up 700% and this one has no markings on the side either. Thanks Ink, I appreciate the picture and value. I'll tell Hammett to keep his find, it may bring his grandkids some extra dough sometime later in life! He got it for $5 bucks, so it is worth his money to hang on to it.

    I would gently try to take off the side with the 3 screws. It may have been flipped and the writing may be on the inside.
