    Default Breaking in New boat.

    Not mine, Harry's .
Harry traded his CC and pontoon on a really nice CC Robalo.
He, Steve and I went out of Southshore on Murray to try for Stripers, White Perch and anything else willing to bite.
We saw fish on the DF right at the Marina so we stopped for a minute to investigate. I dropped my trusty Flex it spoon in and got a solid hit which first felt like a Striper, then I figured White Perch. Got it to the surface and it was a nice fat Crappie. Later in the morning I got a nice WP but it was slow going. Got a hit on a school of Stripers but he came loose before I got him close to the boat.
Not a bad morning ended up with maybe 20 total. Boat did fine too.

We ended up above Big Mans. Lot's of boats above the bridge and into Clouds Creek. Several pulling planer boards.
The gulls were active but soon as the Stripers surfaced 2 or 3 idiots came roaring into the middle of the birds and put the fish down. Kind of amusing to watch. Never saw one hook up.

Its amazing to me how those morons cant figure out that rushing into the middle of the frenzy immediately drops the action to zero! You would think as many times as they try it, they would eventually catch on.
