He said lets going fishing, it'l be fun he's says.....Wind was blowing, couldn't hold the anchor, sucked line in the trolling motor 2 times, remote for troller died with motor in the up position, caught one Perch. Ratchet strap broke, running lights on trailer died.
Still it was good to get out on the last night of the year and wet a line and talk to good friends

Yes, Sir! It was a good night of being out. Wished it would have been nicer. Ferlon said he had a good time just talking about things in general and meeting up with friends. He really tried hard to catch fish but it wasn't written in the books for that to happen. Enjoyed seeing everyone last night and hope we can get together again soon. Maybe a road trip to Monticello or High Rock. I do want to thank Ferlon for pulling anchors last night twice. If I had, I know we'd be in the emergency room with me on a stretcher. I feel as if I ran the Kentucky Derby this morning. see you'll soon! Thanks for the trip ofish!!

Happy New you to all you crappie people!

That's correct Brett! No blue minnows trained by Uncle Remus. Rodney was the only fisherman in the group, I think he had six crappies! . I picked two unlikely spots to try and neither paid off. Marked fish but couldn't stay on them with the wind! Fishing was like flying a kite Fished high and low with no magic spot to be found! But there is time in the new year to find them and it will be on for sure!

Brett, I don't think you are trainable material. Have you ever ridden the goat? That is one of the requirements of being a trainer of blue attack minnows. Uncle Remus has a ritual that one must go thru to achieve the master trainer level. I have not mastered that level yet myself and don't think it is obtainable with all that is required. Blue attack minnows go thru a lot of swimming classes and you must be in the tank with them the first 24 hours, keeping them swimming in a circle at high speed for endurance. I would ask Uncle Remus if he has a class coming up and if you can join in with him on the sessions. Be advised that it is a grueling task to do it! Good luck if you take on the task for the sake of
