Have to agree. This is pretty much the way I catch slabs year round.

Tight lining minnows is way i fish year round but through summer i mostly catfish.

In the cold of the winter months tight lining is my choice but if the winter is on the warm side longlining is what I do. Of course dock shooting on sunny days is always a good choice, what was the question?? ?
