All depends on what you want or already have. Garmin has the panoptics, HB works with minn kota, lowrance works with motorguide.
I tried a lowarance and it was okay for awhile. The problem arose when I had issues and contacted the factory. I probably would have gotten better help from my lawn mower repair shop. Hummingbird has never failed me, I have called customer service with questions and they have been exceptional with assistance. Just my 2 cents. I am sure others have had a similar experience with all manufacturers.

I thought the helix had so clear picture what I been reading now I am really confused what to buy haha
Closest BPS is over 100 miles. The HB7" on sale is 6 hours only, limited stock. Figure my chances of getting one are near zero. Good price on a good unit though. All the DFs on dale are really good discounts.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
I swapped from Lowrance to Garmin and have been real happy. I currently have 4 Garmin units and fixing to buy another.
Got a question why when I'm sitting still does it seem like I pick up nothing but trash and no fish but when I move I can see the fish

What Garmin do you recommend
SCOTCH I !like the Garmin units. I have 3 9 inch units, one with Live scope on my boat. They are simple units and have great maps. If you can order one of the Garmin 9 inch units from bass pro you will not regret it.
