    Rod storage can be a pain but you found something that worked for your needs and looks good and keeps your rods neat.

    Works for you and that's all that matters! I have two 1x3" boards fastened to the side of my shed wall. My rod grips are on the inside of the board on the bottom and the reels sits to the outside of that board. The tips are under the top boards against the wall out of the way. Looks sloppy but it works. None will get broke that way. My long rods stay upright and safe. I like the nail part for separation. I'll have to do that to mine.
