    Default Lake Wylie 11/2/2019.

Got on the lake at 10:00. Decided to hit the creeks and stay out of main lake. Action was good. Kept 20 over 10 inches threw back a bunch of 8 and 9 inchers. Strange day was losing a lot with the fight coming up. I know I had change to plain hooks instead of the sickle hooks. I guess go back to the sickle hooks. Last fish of the day was a doooooonkey 15 inch. had a 14 and a 13 inch. Rest were 10 11 and 12 inchers. Yesterday a friend at my church and I hit the lake and kept 17. He needed some fish for a big fish fry with his family. So I kept yesterday and today. We are going back out Monday to finish up the fish fry patrol and I can start releasing what I catch.

Fun part of the day was when a couple was fishing for perch trolled by me. Talking with them they were not catching much. there were setup right just wrong location. I pointed to where they should go and when they got there party was on. They were laughing and had a great time catching perch. Poor guy had 3 sabikki rigs and all three were loaded up at the same time. Sure is nice seeing people having fun catching fish. While that was going on I went to catching crappie. The weather sure was nice. looks like the creeks are getting nice for crappie and perch.

CK, that's a great report ! I didn't get your call until late last night. We were in the process of having our first great grand daughter. Sound like you hit the jack pot on fish and glad you helped another fisherman get some action too! I got to get out there while fishing is good and the weather is not harsh.
    You're the man!
