Default Made the Wylie trip today Remus

Fishing was fairly good most of the day for us. Started off with several perch and a couple nice crappies in one spot them moved 40 or 50 foot and got more. It was this way all day some here and then none, then move and find them again. Saw Mr. Charles dragging the lake and CK briefly with us talking crappie holes and jigs. They will tell you what they got if they want to. We had 74 medium and small perch with 7 crappies most 10 to 13 inches and 3 big brim. Threw all our catfish back which was around 10 ranging small up to about 5 pounds. Great day! We were on water at daylight with no wind to worry about for a good bit. Cloudy most of the morning then sun came thru heating things up a little. Thanks Uncle Remus for a good trip as always!
Maybe next week we can go again.

It was fun talking to both of you. Looks like Remus military blue night crawlers were catching those perch. Remus that offer still stands if you want to go with me and learn that side imager. I have done a lot of research on the SI and I can see brushpiles 125 feet on both sides pretty good. I can set yours up and no brush will be safe. lol. Hey Dawgg thanks for that plastic jig it did well next to the Monkey Milk. Gonna order some from Cutbait when I get back from Cabo San Lucas. Thanks again you two are the best.
Forgot I did release all crappie before 10:30 and then I thought maybe keep some so after 10:30 ended up with my 20 good ones by noon. The Crappie were on fire on the brush piles. Most of mine caught above beaver dam and some in Whatmacallit creek.

I'd pay good money to see Remus learn something! He is still showing off about the big crappie he caught yesterday.

Glad that you alls got out and had a good day. When you get back CK I want to drag my boat up there and fish with you and see how the live scope works on brush piles. I have had it for 6 month and never used it. Just now getting where it is not to hot to fish and the pontoon is fishable.
