    Default Blind mounts

I need to put a trolling motor on a deck with no access below. Seems like Butch was doing this some time ago. What's the best way? I've had poor luck with the rubber mounts that work like a toggle bolt. They seem to work loose. Any suggestions?

Ray you can buy these mounts at Lowe's and home depot. They are not stainless but will outlast you and me.

My boat had these on it when I overhauled it, I'm guessing installed at the factory or the boat dealership. I replaced the trolling motor. These were a major pain to remove. They'd likely been in place and in use for 18 years and still worked as they should.

Ray, best I remember I think I used toggle bolt anchors. I didnt pay nothing like $37 for 6 though. Whew! I bought mine at the local hardware store.

I found the toggle bolts and boy did they make a simple job out of what is usually a PIA. Thanks Cray, Butch and Don for the heads up.
