I thought about trying to install it but changed my mind and let a welding shop bolt it up. Cost $240.00 for them to do it. Not a lot of room under there to work and my fat butt would not fit under there. It cost 940.00 to buy it and get it installed plus gas to go to Wilmington N.C.Originally Posted by MThook

I bought the t top off eBay and I thought it was only the t top but it also had the rod holders and an electronics box and an antenna mount. I did not want the rod holders but they will only fit a dolphin t top so I installed them up front for now. I was thinking about chasing schooling stripers this winter. The t top was the best buy I have ever made.

I like the idea of front mounted rod holders. I fished with a guide sometime back and I brought a couple of my personal rods to use. He put them in the holders up top in the back of the T-top. You know they call them things "Rocket Launchers" for a reason! if not for my buddy's quick eye and reflex my rods would have sailed out the back of the boat. He caught them as they came out of the holders. We were doing about 50 at the time.
Shouldn't happen with them mounted on the front.
