    Default MTHook is right!

Went fishing today and man is he rusty at catching. We met up at Ebenezer Park and went out for a while to see if we could get some perch for bait to catfish with. Well, it didn't go that well for us. Caught one coon perch, 1 brim, 1 bass, 3 crappie and probably 2 colds. It drizzled on us most all evening. No hook up on the cats but we had fun talking about just life, how thing have been and traveling. Had a couple of problems with my motor staying running and of course the Tm tried to act up to. But we made it out and back in with only being wet a little. No down pours but enough to dampen your clothes. Glad to see each other for it has been a long time since Grady has went fishing with any of us. Hope to do it again soon. We maybe will have to try a nightstalk for those crappies. We did not catch any white perch at all. Just couldn't locate them. Thanks MTHook! Good fishing with you.

We were out on Big A this morning at daylight. Found perch bunched up in about 12 to 15 water just off a point across from the Nuclear Bridge. I have never found perch this shallow. Caught a bunch of small perch(spoons & worms) for bait. Trolled for cats at several spots. Only caught 5 cats at various spots on main channel. Nothing over about 20 lbs. Bite was slow but better than setting at home.

I need more training on fishing all together. Seemed to be no fish where we looked and the three crappies were just luck when we found them. Marked lots of somethings but no biters. I figured it was low pressure causing fish not to bite. Oh well!

Can you eat those golf balls after chasing them through the woods? I know you do beat it to death with the clubs and it should be tenderized.
