    Default Having a great summer.

The summer bite has been fantastic on Wateree and Santee so far this year. On both lakes the fish have been plentiful and willing to bite most days. Wateree has been pumping out some great quality fish this summer that will rival almost any lake I can think of. 75% of the fish that we’ve caught this year have been on a slip rig with the smallest minnows I can find, paired with a #6 hook (sometimes a #8 if they are acting up). Hate to see the summer winding down but looking forward to some cooler weather for sure!! Name: IMG_0893.jpg

Very nice fish indeed, I haven't gone out since the heat. Are you fishing a morning bite?
