    Default One more Striper trip

Y'all probably tired of hearing about Lake Murray Stripers so next trip we will hit Monticello for a change of scenery.
Tom (Gadabout)and I were on the water before sunrise and were blessed with a beautiful sunrise
I got the 1st fish at 6:25 and then Tom put a whipping on me catching 3 before my 2nd came on board.
We ended up with 6 and 5 were October fish. (over 21")
Here's the sunrise , a cooler shot and my 2 fish.
Also a final view before they turned into lunch.
We quit about 9:30 when the heat started building up.

Nice job! I went west to kill an antelope with my bow! I will be back on Murray this Sunday after striper and bass.

Hope you were successful. Tough quarry, especially with a bow.
Antelope was my favorite of several species of game. Thought it much milder and flavorful than venison. Bison burgers are good too.

Yes! They are delicious for sure! Killed first day and then headed to Tetons and yellowstone a few days. Couldnt have been better.
