Default Stripers and a hungry perch

Tom and I hit the water b4 sunrise today looking for Stripers again. Tom got a couple right away and I had a hit and thought this is a small Striper. Turned out to be a really fat perch. Must have been hungry because he hit a 7" spoon. One of the biggest White Perch I've caught. I finally managed 3 Stripers.
Tom had 5 so that made a pretty good cooler of fish.
We quit around 10 when it started getting hot. Name: 20190806_064501.jpg

I wont be able to get back out there for another couple weeks. We sold our house and are moving out this weekend. Thinking about burning a vacation day when all of this is said and done!

That perch is a definite over achiever with big boy pants on. That is a big perch thanks.

Tom (Gadabout) caught a bunch this size this past winter. He laid them out on a 12" board and they hung over the side.
