Seems like we just the last one in the books. Now time to start planning for this year. The gang got together and decided on Sept. 21. at Ebenezer Park on Wylie. Rain out date will be following Sat. the 28th. It was decided last year to rotate from High Rock to Wylie on alternate years. That being said it will be a night stalk. You can fish anywhere on the lake as long as you got proper license. A big thing this year is that we have a great friend and supporter Mr. Monk. is gonna cook up a big hash for everyone that comes out. Still working out the details on it but come hungry. Will go by same weigh in process as other times. So that way no team has a numbers advantage. It is decided before blastoff what those numbers will be. I will get a sticky up soon as more details come in. Make your plans to be there. You wont meet a better bunch of folks to hang out with. I can already hear folks hollering that's deer season. But it is also fishing season. So let em walk one more weekend and catch a mess of crappie for your freezer. They will be good on one of those cold snowy days when ya cant hunt. Make plans to come out. Hope to see a crowd.

Thanks ofishlbizzness! I'll get in touch with Monk and give him the info that he needs to get ready and maybe he'll join in on the fun. I think we said eat before launching. So we have to get a time for Monk to be ready to meet up with us or if he wants to cook it out there at the shelter, I'll get that set up for him to do it there. Hopefully nothing has changed on his side of plans. For those that don't know Monk he is one of the best day time fishermen around on Wylie. He goes everyday weather permitting with James Covington or Bo Ramsey, all are very good at brush fishing and some of you are fishing on their brush piles and don't know it!

He knows it's free game if you find it! Before you say it.

Monk use to be a member on the SC board years ago. Had the name flattop or something like that!

I guess because he keeps his hair high and tight. I hope we get a large turn out again this year so get you plans in order and get off the couch! You know you are not ready for hunting just yet!

2. Setup 810
3. Catch 20 nice ones
4. Back at ramp 1130
5. Home midnight
6. The wife hugs me , hands me dinner and cleans the fish, gets boat put up AND gets batteries on the charger.
