    Default Pontoon

Well I just got back from picking up my pontoon from Greenwood. It is finally fixed after 3 months and $2500.ok later. Now I can get to fixing it like I want it. Got new vinyl for the floor should be here Sat and going to start stripping it shortly. Going to make a center console out of it and add a custom t top also. Should be a good fishing rig when I get through.

When you get thru practicing with yours you can do mine! Seriously, I hope you get it right the first time and not have to worry about something minor that you think you should have done. Good luck and be safe working on it with the heat! Hope to see the results soon!

I would love to see pictures of this project as well. My boat is not the most kid and wife friendly in the world and I keep thinking about adding a pontoon to the fleet. But I would like to do exactly what you are saying, strip it down and lay it out exactly like I want it.

I got the pontoon to leave in the water at my dock so when I want to go it is ready. I found a place in North Carolina that has 16 ft brand new center tube conversions for $700.00 going to call shortly and see if he has any left. The center tube just bolts on so will do that when I do floor. I am removing all seats and just put one in each corner. And i got to add a new livewell. Looking forward to getting started with it when I get back from crankfest at lake Grenada Mississippi . I will post pictures as I work on it. Don
