    Default Wylie late Sunday evening

Took the grand boys out for a few hours late Sunday to see if they could catch perch for bait and do a couple of long pulls for a big cat. Boaters didn't get off the water until almost dark. The wake boarder who evidently liked following a pontoon keeping within close sight all evening. The kids managed to get enough perch to fish with and we started drifting using the CBNC method. Made one long pull from Joslin Point to the next point heading to the dam. Had one pull down but didn't hook up. Turned and came back up to the humps off edge of channel, nothing would bite. I guess due to so much boat traffic or they weren't there. We did manage a nice bass for Henry who is six years old. It was fun even if we didn't catch much of nothing. Hope you get a smile out of it.

Those kids will mostly remember that Gramps took them fishing. Whether they caught any or plenty won't factor into the memory.
