That looks like a bunch of somebody's catfish tires. I don't think it's legal to fish with those in Wylie anymore, but some folks probably still do it.

Maybe an attractant at one time that has since scattered. Too deep for people to catch catfish in them by hand if it's like the tires they used to sew up and fish along the edges of the lake in shallow water. Just my opinion though......

Grass mat must be from someone's yard up in the South Fork area. Could do some damage at night time if you hit it hard. Hope it's not me tomorrow night!

CK, your picture of tires look pretty dang good. Waiting on a school of crappies on the brush and perch pictures also! My HDS7 SI/DI and HB 988c SI/DI do most of the finding for me which ain't great. I guess, I could hold Brett by his ankles up side down over the side to see what's down there but I don't know if he's mega or not!

CKs machine is so good he told me the tires are worn on one side, so i don't want them.

Might be just a little to rotted Brett! I got to get me one of those machines so I can find a few things that my HDS 7 / HB 998c won't show me. I was holding out for the HDS 12 or the Solix 10 to up grade. But that may be a ways off just now! Wife is going on a European cruise with her Aunt in August. I'll have no supervision for 2 weeks.
