    Default Cranked It!

When out after the rain despite other semi-respected fishermen bailing out on me.
Anyway. I started longlining since the bait seemed up high. Jigs, 1/16th
    Went to little Allison.
Pulling jigs i got 3 nice perch in minutes.
Then it was Over. For HOURS

Finally i decided to attract more attention than jigs so i switched to plugs.
Started getting bites and 2 nice crappie.
Plus 2 cats. Lots of small perch.
And 1 more crappie. 1 good sized thug.

Look how thick the bait is

    Kept 3 crappie
    1 perch

Also noticed the water has cleared down to 20ft.
Making me think it was a mud event not a thermocline

Glad you went Brett! I know the feeling of no other fishermen around when you got the itch and time to go! Great pictures of your catch. I think you are right on the mud line. All that crap floating down out of the creeks and upper lake has to settle. Ofish will be proud of you changing over mid stream!

That bait looks like a Bagley Balsa B.
