    Default Shark fishing in Edisto

I wasn't able to get any usable footage from our dive trip in Edisto, but I did manage to put together a video of a short shark fishing outing that we took on Memorial Day. We kept our limit of 4 to make steaks and cakes out of. Threw several back to harass another day!!!

Often wondered how shark tasted. I caught a nice bonnethead last fall and considered cutting it up but I put it back.

It's very good grilled. Remove the skin and the dark meat season it like any other fish. Don't overcook them bc it is a little tighter meat so it will dry out on you. When I get back later in the month I'm going to do a Catch and Cook video on making "Shark Cakes". It's the wife's favorite recipe.
