Default Any Charles Biggers sighting in lake Wylie.

Any body heard any Charles sightings? He must be killing them and is too busy cleaning to post. This is the time of year the perch start schooling. Next week I am retired and going to make those perch miserable with the Terminator perch rig.

You don't need Mr. Charles to find perch. You got a good Helix to use now! Uncle Remus found us a bunch of perch week before last on some of the usual places. Scattered still but in small groups is what we saw with them. Hope you enjoy next week fishing. I may go out there next week on my 6 day break! Good luck and get some pictures with the new Helix!

We were out on the main channel Tuesday morning. Found a large school of perch in about 25'. Using minnows & cut bait, we put about 80 perch & 9 channel cats in the boat. Never did leave the first spot we dropped anchor at. We also caught about 12 bass on bass minnows. Most of the perch were on the large size. Much fun to catch. They would bite & swim up & away from the boat which caused a lot of tangled lines. Tried a couple of spoons without any luck.

Headed back out in the morning on wylie.
