The full moon does strange things

Since I can’t get away from work to fish anytime soon I guess I won’t have any reports ...But I figured I could start a discussion. So is it true with full moon (especially clear sky) that the nite bite is dead? Is there any change in tactics during full moon? Any thoughts for a newcomer like myself?

The bite doesn't slow much on a full moon the problem is being able to pull in bait. The light in the water on a dark night pulls bait really well but with a bright night from the moon it lights up the water which makes the submersible light less productive. I have fished on many bright night (some good & others not) and prefer to fish the dark nights.
As Stump Hunter said it is harder to get bait drawn in and hold under your boat on full moon nights. But if you can fish prior to a late rising moon you can get them. Google the moon phases and moon rising and set times to figure your best times to be on the water to fish. Pick the time the moon rises around 11pm and fish from dark to then, you can get a few that way! Hope this helps you.

Have done well on full moon. But like previous replies bait is scattered more. But don’t back off on full moon . Go when ya can.

Doesnt always matter if a full moon if it's late coming up (the moon rises about an hour later each day/night). It will stay dark until that happens.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Awesome thanks for all the responses ... I guess for all intents and purposes any time on the water fishin is probably better than a lot of things i.e. work lol and catching a mess is just the bonus
