    Default April box shots

From a sporadic early spring to a awesome April. The vertical jig bite on Santee trees, grass, lilies, logs, and brush has been phenomenal. All fish caught one poling while alone, and with some select guests. Box loads on nearly every trip. My favorite time to fish due the variety of depths, locations, type of structure that are all producing great catches on select days.

Wow!! You ought to be getting a pretty good stack in the freezer by now. My wife has told me many times: Alright Already with the Fish!!! We don't need any more for a while.
Looks like it's time for a community fish fry now. Thanks for sharing your bounty with the rest of us.

Great job Ink. I'll be at Henry's in Stumphole Wednesday thru Saturday or Sunday. If I can pry my buddy away from the Shellcrackers I might run over to Jack's Creek.
You fishing any specific days this week? Has Jack's improved? You told me a while back it had not been too good so far.

Things are better, but new windows of opportunity have presented themselves. Many spots, means staying away from the crowds. You know me, I’m always making new fish habitat. Trying some artificial ones on a test basis!

Very impressive coolers Tim I love to see new cover going into the lakes and I think you will like the PVC piles. I have many of them I have placed and still fish them yearly and the fish uses them, some year around.
