    Default April 27 th Nightstalk

Thanks guys for going and also for giving up some crappies to the cooler! Ferlon just texted me saying he had 52 in the cooler. He didn't take a picture but only one I have is of the dead well. Was a slow but good night to be out on the lake. Temp with the moisture added didn't help any aches I had but I was glad I went. Hopefully next time I'll be able to have more light on the water as for two of mine went to the grave yard. My 4 foot hydro glow is a major upset being one of them. We set up in 29 foot of water and caught fish mostly in 12 foot range in the beginning all being small size. Later in the evening prior to leaving they got bigger and just about any where you dropped they would bite. Thank again for a night out!

That's a nice haul of fish.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Yeah, we had help though! Ferlon waxed me under the clear star fire compared to me with my old, old 18 inch green light giving off a dull light! Might have been different if the hydro glow was working.
