    Default Lake Wylie

New member but longtime lurker. I have gained lots of info from y’all and I appreciate everyone’s contributions. I saved up a few dollars and finally boat a new boat. Now I have to put what I’ve been reading on here to practice. I’ll be meeting my cousin, from Charlotte, in Tega Cay with hopes of landing some crappie. Any advice on boat ramps near Tega Cay or how to target the crappie and possible depths to target. I planned on hitting some docks and coves with a slipp bobber and jigs and if that don’t work then trying longlining somewhere. Thanks again.

Nivens creek will be your closest ramp. There's actually docks in pretty decent depths along Nivens going out toward the main lake. Last Sunday in Crowder's Creek they were staged up in around 20'. But the water was almost ten degrees cooler then than it was yesterday!!! Good luck
