Looking to hit Wateree this week trying to reduce some water! Have a big offshore boat so anchoring and casting is my best option I think. Spawning, shallow, in coves, main lake, etc? Just looking for half a dozen keepers to fry up.

We did well last week longlining in creeks. Today we’re catching them on deep brush piles.

I tried casting in shallow water around blow downs yesterday and only managed one fish. Started longlining in 20ish FOW and got on some decent fish. My best marks came around secondary points.

Try trolling in 6 to 12 feet of water pulling jigs about 4 to 6 feet deep
